The problem with starting from the documents
Documents say what the parties agreed. Registers say what actually happened: who owns what, who went insolvent, which plot has a pipeline under it, which company was created last month by the same people who ran the one that owes you money. Most of this is public. Almost nobody reads it before acting.

Four states, never a guess
Every source in our reports returns one of four states: found, checked and clear, no data coverage, or source unavailable. We never write “no risk” when the honest answer is “could not be checked”.

What it costs
